According to gadget experts, make sure to keep your screen brightness at 30% and avoid turning on WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, and GPS unless you really need to use them. These settings consume the most power from your smartphones.
To save storage space, delete unnecessary applications, turn off your Photo Stream (for iPhone users), and be wary of the “Auto-save” setting.
