House Bill seeks to provide 30GB mobile data allowance for public school teachers
In order to provide our school children quality education and to ensure that our teachers are given the support they need in the undertaking of their profession, the State shall provide mobile data allowance for every public school teacher to facilitate decent and portable access to internet connection thereby improving learning instruction.
Mobile Data Allowance for Public School Teachers Act'
Virgilio S. Lacson, Manila Teachers Representative, initiated the filing of House Bill No. 8639 also known as the “Mobile Data Allowance for Public School Teachers Act'.”
Lacson believes that in order to provide our school children quality education and to ensure that our teachers are given the support they need in the undertaking of their profession, the State shall provide mobile data allowance for every public school teacher to facilitate decent and portable access to internet connection thereby improving learning instruction.

If the said House Bill will become a law, A Monthly Mobile Data Allowance amounting to 30GB data consumption with a minimum speed of 5 mbps will be given to all qualified public school teachers.
